This 10 days tour package is expertly crafted to include visits to all of Egypt’s historic capital cities, such as Aswan, Memphis, Luxor, and Cairo, also known as the capital of Alexander the Great. You’ll get to immerse yourself in the history of Egypt with 2 days of Cairo sightseeing tours, a day trip to Alexandria, and 5 days in Luxor and Aswan with a Nile cruise. Additionally, a day trip to the Dendara and Abydos temples is also included. During this tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the stunning ancient tombs in the Valley of the Kings and visit the impressive temples of Karnak and Luxor while enjoying the fresh air on one of our luxurious Nile cruises.
Itineraries
Day 1: Cairo Arrival
Meet, welcome, and assist at Cairo Airport. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Day 2: Time: 8:00 am: Cairo Sightseeing Tours – Pyramids
After breakfast at the hotel, pick you up and start a guided tour to explore Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, Saqqara, Imhotep Museum, the Step Pyramid complex, and Memphis ancient city. Lunch in a local Egyptian restaurant. Transfer back to the hotel.
Day 3: Time: 7:00 am: Aswan – Nile Cruise
Early breakfast from the hotel. Pick you up and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan. Arrive at Aswan and start our sightseeing tours to Philae Temple & the Unfinished obelisk. Transfer to the Nile cruise, check in, and Lunch. After lunch, take a Felucca boat ride around Elephantine Island. Dinner on board the cruise ship.
Day 4: Sailing – Kom Ombo Temple Tour
Early morning navigation to Kom Ombo. After breakfast, start our guided tour to Kom Ombo temple which was built by the Ptolemies and dedicated unusually to two different gods. Lunch & dinner on board the cruise ship.
Day 5: Edfu Temple Visit – Sailing to Luxor
After breakfast on the cruise ship, start our tour of the Edfu temple by horse carriage. The temple is the second largest temple in Egypt and one of the very well-preserved temples. Continue sailing to later watch the process of crossing the Esna lock of the Nile. Lunch & dinner on board the cruise ship.
Day 6: Luxor Sightseeing Tours
After breakfast on the cruise ship, Check-out and start our guided tour to the valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Temple of Medinet Habu, and Memnon colossi. Transfer back to the cruise ship. Transfer to Luxor hotel & check in. After lunch, start our guided tour of Karnak and Luxor temples. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight.
Day 7: Dendara & Abydos Day Trip
After breakfast on the cruise ship. check-out and start our guided tour to the Dendara Temple of Goddess Hathor and the temple of Osiris at Abydos. The two most beautiful temples of Egypt with original colors still exist on the walls. Lunch is in a local Egyptian restaurant. Transfer back to Luxor and check in at the hotel.
Day 8: Luxor – Cairo Sightseeing
After breakfast in the hotel, check out and transfer to Luxor International Airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrive at Cairo Airport, Pick you up, and start our guided tours to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, Islamic & Coptic Cairo, and the tourist bazaar at Khan El-Khalili. Transfer to your Cairo hotel, check-in, and overnight.
Day 9: Alexandria Day Trip
After breakfast at the hotwe el, start our day Trip to Alexandria for our guided sightseeing tours. Explore the catacombs, the Roman amphitheater, Pompey’s pillar, & Abul Abaas mosque. Seafood lunch. We drive by the Alexandria library and watch the Qaytbay fortress from outside. Transfer back to Cairo.
Day 10: Departure
After breakfast at the hotel. Pick you up and transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
