Detailed itinerary of the 13-day cultural tour

Day 1: Arrival in Egypt To Start Your 13-Day Cultural Tour: Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, You will Meet Your Assistant and he will Meet You With the “Egypt Tours World” Sign He Will be ready to assist you throughout your passport control formalities and your luggage identification. When you finish at the airport, you will meet your private tour guide right in front of the airport with a private modern A.C. vehicle, and he will take you to your 5* Hotel in Cairo to check in and have some rest. In the evening, your 13 Days Culture Trip will begin with us as your tour guide will come to pick you up from your hotel so that you enjoy a dinner cruise and hear some of the most impressive stories from the history of Egypt. There will be some exceptional activities that you can have there, including witnessing the Tannoura show which is held by a group of Egyptians who represent part of Egyptian folklore. After finishing your dinner, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo overnight.

Day 2: Tour of the Pyramids and Memphis City: You will have your delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then your tour guide will pick you up to start an imaginary cultural trip to Egypt to visit the most recommended Egypt tourist attractions including:

Giza Pyramids Complex: It is called Giza Necropolis and it includes the most impressive ancient Egyptian monuments and attractions that stand as a mark of ancient Egyptian excellence and brilliance. There, you will find a collection of the best landmarks including the extraordinary shape, impeccable geometry, and sheer bulk of the Giza Pyramids here is a short description of the best attractions you are going to visit there:

The Great Pyramid: You will get the chance to head to the great pyramid of Cheops which has been known as a truly immense structure since the moment of its construction. It was built by King Khufu, the son of King Snefru who started a terrific construction project and his son was the one who was able to achieve his target. What we see now is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and you should t miss a visit to such an amazing site anyway.

The Great Sphinx: There are many reasons which make the amazing Sphinx a truly fascinating feature that was believed to be built by Pharaoh Khafre about 4500 years ago. It is considered the largest monolith statue in the world measuring 20.22 m in height and 19.3 m in width.

The Valley Temple: While being in Giza Plateau, you will find yourself heading to the majestic Valley Temple which used to be the site of the main Mummification & Purification processes of the mummies of the most important Egyptian rulers & Pharaohs. You will find there some inscriptions and some artifacts that show some items which the ancient Egyptians used to use in their purification processes to prepare their dead people for the afterlife journey.

You will have your delicious lunch meal at a restaurant with a pyramids view and then your tour guide will take you on a wonderful tour to:

Saqqara Step Pyramid: This terrific pyramid was built by King Djoser who was the father of King Snufuru and began an era of truly innovative achievements and highly impressive architectural monuments. It was built out of several mastabas over one another by the architect Imhotep in the 27th century B.C.

Then move to visit:

Memphis City: This amazing city was founded by Pharaoh Menes and it was the capital of Egypt during the Egypt Old Kingdom the most important thing about it is that it occupied a truly strategic position in Delta and it was the home to feverish activity. It thrived as a regional center for commerce, religion, and trade and there you will see the amazing sleeping statue of King Ramses II.

After finishing your tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo overnight.

Day 3: Tour to Alexandria Landmarks: After having your breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will head on a breathtaking adventure towards the city that is called The Bride of the Mediterranean Sea, Alexandria by a private modern car, and upon your arrival, your tour guide will take you on a fanciful tour to the main attractions in the city including:

Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa: These majestic Catacombs represent the largest Roman burial site in Egypt that was dedicated to religion in Ancient Egypt. The Site there include three tiers of tombs & chambers that were cut into bedrock to a depth of 35 m.

Back above ground, continue to visit:

Pompey’s Pillar: It is a legendary column that stands on a rocky hilltop in Alexandria. It was started by the Crusaders and the most interesting thing about it is that it was erected around 300 AD for the Roman Emperor Diocletian and it is considered one of the most interesting attractions in Alexandria.

Continuing to visit:

Qaitbay Citadel: It is one of the most important fortresses that was constructed in Egypt that was built in the 15th century on the Mediterranean Sea in 1477 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qa it Bay. Qaitbay Citadel was constructed on the location of Alexandria Lighthouse which was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World before its destruction.

Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant, then you will finish your tour with a visit:

Alexandria Library is the major cultural center in the world and it is a commemoration of the ancient library that was lost in antiquity it is also an attempt to rekindle something of the brilliance that was represented earlier in the study center.

Then, we will drive you back to your hotel in Cairo overnight.

Day 4: Fly to Luxor – Check in the Cruise – Visit Luxor East Bank Highlights: After finishing your breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, we will drive you to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Luxor, and upon your arrival, your tour guide will take you on a fanciful tour to Luxor East Bank:

Karnak Temple: While heady to the impressive complex of Karnak, you will find a vast mix of some of the most astonishing decayed temples, pylons, and chapels. Its construction started in the Egypt Middle Kingdom during the reign of Senusret I and the construction work lasted till the Egypt New Kingdom. It was the main worship place during the 18th dynasty and Amun was the chief god during that period.

Then, you will check in on your 5* Nile Cruise to relax for some time and have your delicious lunch and in the evening, you will head to the incredible:

Luxor Temple: This amazing complex is the largest one on the east bank of the Nile River. It wasn’t dedicated to a cult god but it was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship. It is going to be a truly exceptional journey to head to this impressive temple at night to check out the impressive show that is being held there.

You will get back to your 5* Nile Cruise to spend the night and get ready for another day full of adventure.

Day 5: Sailing to Kom Ombo: You will spend a great day on board your Nile Cruise and in the afternoon, you will start sailing to Kom Ombo. You will arrive late at night and you will overnight on board your Nile Cruise.

Day 6: Visit Kom Ombo Temple: After having your breakfast on board your Nile Cruise, you will join your tour guide to visit the impressive:

Kom Ombo Temple: It is a great double temple that was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty and the most unique thing about it is that its double design means that there were some halls, rooms, and sanctuaries that were duplicated for 2 sets of gods and you will have the chance to discover all about it with your private tour guide.

Start sailing to Aswan and upon your arrival, you will overnight on board your 5* Nile Cruise.

Day 7: Abu Simbel Tour: You will have your breakfast boxes in the Early Morning and then you will join your tour guide on a truly exciting tour of the impressive Abu Simbel temple.

Abu Simbel: In Abu Simbel, you will visit two iconic temples that were dedicated to the great pharaoh Ramses II which are located about 230 km southeast of Aswan. The two temples were carved out of the mountainside in the 13th century BC. The great temple was built as the king wanted to commemorate his victory in the Battle of Kadesh and that is why it is known for the Sun Festival that takes place in it twice a year and the other one for his favorite wife Queen Nefertari.

You will get back to your Nile Cruise to have your lunch and then you will spend the rest of the day on the board and overnight there.

Day 8: Tour to Aswan Attractions: After finishing your breakfast, you will join your tour guide to visit some of the most recommended Aswan tourist attractions including:

The High Dam: This impressive dam was built between 1960 & 1970 and its construction helped the country a lot to better control flooding it provides increased water storage for irrigation and generates hydroelectricity and that is why the dam has had a significant effect on the economy and culture of Egypt.

The Unfinished Obelisk: You will get the chance to visit this impressive obelisk that was mainly constructed to complement the Lateran Obelisk and it is about one-third larger than any erected ancient Egyptian Obelisks. It offers some unique insights into ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques as it has some marks from the worker’s tools.

Philae Temple: This gorgeous Philae temple was the center of the cult of Isis and it is considered one of Nubia s most important & impressive monument sites. It was saved by UNESCO as it was about to be destroyed because of the flood of the Nile. It was relocated to Agilikia Island which is located 12 km south of Aswan.

Then you will get back to your Nile Cruise overnight.

Day 9: Sailing to Edfu: You will start sailing towards Edfu in the afternoon and you will arrive late at night. You will spend your night on board your 5* Nile Cruise.

Day 10: Visit Edfu Temple: You will have your breakfast and then your tour guide will come to pick you up to head on a marvelous tour to:

Edfu temple: This exceptional temple is considered one of the best-preserved shrines in Egypt. Edfu temple was built during the Ptolemaic Kingdom as the inscriptions on its walls provide some important information about the language & the religion during the Hellenistic period in Egypt.

After finishing your tour, you will get back to your Nile Cruise overnight.

Day 11: Visit Luxor West Bank Landmarks – Fly to Cairo: After having your breakfast, you will check out your Nile Cruise and you will join your tour guide to visit some of the best attractions on the West Bank of Luxor including:

The Spectacular Valley of the Kings: It is one of the major sites in Luxor that contains rock-cut tombs, which were excavated for the powerful nobles & Pharaohs of the New Kingdom. It stands opposite Thebes within the heart of the Theban Necropolis and you will find there 2 valleys: the East Valley and which is the major site that includes royal tombs and the West Valley.

Hatshepsut Temple: You should t miss a visit to this spectacular temple in Luxor that was built during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut in the 18th dynasty and you will find it beneath the cliffs at Deir Bahari near the Valley of the Kings. Hatshepsut temple served as a religious temple that was dedicated to Amun & Hatshepsut.

You will head your tour guide to visit:

Colossi of Memnon: You will head with your tour guide to the twin statues that depict King Amenhotep III in his seated position.

Now, we will transfer you to have your lunch in a local restaurant and then you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back to Cairo. Upon your arrival, you will check in at your 5* Hotel overnight.

Day 12: Visit Cairo Tourist Attractions: You will have your breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then you will meet your tour guide to start a new adventure towards the heart of Egypt to check some of its main attractions including:

The Egyptian Museum: It is located in Tahrir Square and was opened in 1902. It is a truly impressive site that includes the greatest collection of Ancient Egyptian archeological history in the world. There, you will find some ancient Egyptian artifacts, monuments, statues, and mummies.

Salah El Din Citadel: You will head now to Cairo Citadel which is a medieval Islamic fortification in Cairo. It is considered now one of the most important preserved historic sites in Egypt with its mosques & museums.

Then move to visit:

Mohamed Ali Mosque: It is suited to Cairo Citadel and was commissioned by Mohamed Ali Pasha. It was designed by a Turkish architect and that is why it has a unique shape. It was mainly built for praying and to commemorate the son of Mohamed Ali Tuson and Mohamed Ali was buried after his death on the right side of the entrance.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a heavenly gate leading to the immortal treasures of Egypt that date back more than 4000 years found in the sacred ground of El Fustat in old Cairo which was the first capital of Egypt during the beginning of the Islamic age.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar: You will have an extraordinary imaginative shopping tour in Cairo through Khan El-Khalili Bazaar which is the largest open-air market in the World. There, you will be able to buy the majestic Egyptian antiques & artifacts besides finding some amazing clothes & spices shops there and that is why it is going to be a good tour to have at the end of your tour.

After finishing your tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel to relax and spend the night.

Day 13: End Your 13-Day Cultural Tour: Breakfast at the hotel then checks out before we will transfer you to Cairo International Airport by air-conditioned car to fly back home and end your Egypt vacation.
