Itineraries
Day 1: Time: 7:00 am: Cairo-Bahariyya-White desert
After an early start to Bahariya Oasis 12, which is located at a distance of 365 km and takes around 4-5 hours to reach by drive, you will arrive at the Bawiti Center of Bahariya by noon. From here, you will be transferred to Al-Haiz by Jeep Safari between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm.
After lunch in El-Haiz, you’ll get to explore the beautiful black desert, the crystal mountain, the hot springs, the natural carvings like tents, the malachite valley, and much more between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. By 5:00 pm, you’ll arrive at the white desert, where you’ll witness a stunning sunset with mushroom formations.
Between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere while your dinner gets prepared by the Bedouin guys. Dinner is a barbeque under the stars and you’ll get to taste authentic Bedouin tea. Spend the night camping in a big tent prepared with pillows, mattresses, and sleeping bags, along with other camping equipment.
Day 2: White desert-El-Bawiti-Wadi Hitan
You’ll need to wake up early to catch the sunrise before breakfast in the white desert. After breakfast, we’ll take the jeep safari back to Bawiti, which will take place between 8:00 and 9:30 am. At 10:00 am, we’ll arrive at the hotel where you’ll have time to take a shower and change your clothes.
Between 11:30 am and 3:30 pm, the journey towards Wadi Hitan through the desert will commence, with stops at Wadi El Sant (Acacia valley) and Wadi Hian Panorama, and a lunch stop on the way.
From 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, you’ll have 2 hours to explore the fossils of whales by taking a full 3 km walk in Wadi Hitan, which is an iconic story of evolution. Between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm, you can relax and soak in the beautiful atmosphere while the driver prepares the camp and barbecue dinner. Dinner will be served between 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

Day 3: Time: 6:00 am: Wadi El-Rayyan-Fayoum-Cairo
To begin the day, you’ll need to wake up at 6:00 am followed by a 6:30 am to 7:30 am slot for catching the sunrise and breakfast. After breakfast, we’ll drive towards Wadi El-Rayyan with a stop at Mudawara Mountain between 7:30 am and 8:30 am.
The magnificent view from the mountain will allow you to appreciate the blue waters meeting the yellow sands. Afterward, we’ll visit the Wadi El-Rayyan Protected Area, where there are many things to see, including waterfalls, birds, and two stunning lakes.
The memorable scene of the blue waters and the golden desert land contrasts beautifully at Wadi El-Rayyan. Between 11:00 am to 11:30 am, we’ll drive to Qaroun Lake, the third biggest lake in Egypt.
Opportunity to have lunch at a fish restaurant with a beautiful lake view. From 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, we will transfer back to Cairo.
